A Notice to Our Patients
We believe it is important to provide some information to our patients at this time, given that there is so much concern over the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, it is still cold and flu season, so this information also applies to these much more common viruses.
The health and safety of our patients is of utmost importance to us here at Marvel Eye Center. Marvel Eye Center can best serve our community by treating patients who are not currently experiencing cold and flu symptoms. By waiting to treat non-emergency eye care until you and your family members are feeling better, you can help protect yourself as well as our other patients and staff from further disseminating viruses and other illnesses. In order to keep our office at its cleanest for you and your families, we ask that you let us know if you or any family members have had a fever or cold/flu symptoms in the last 72 hours. If you have, we would be happy to work with you on rescheduling your appointment for a time when you or your family members are feeling well again.
At Marvel Eye Center we follow the latest infection prevention guidelines and strictly adhere to these protocols. To maximize patient safety we use top-line sterilization equipment as well as strict procedures and checklists. Single-use masks and gloves as well as hand-washing and sanitation procedures are standards we always follow to protect our patients and staff. In addition, we focus on the cleanliness of our waiting and consultation areas, and our clinical treatment areas. We want our patients to know that these areas receive attention throughout each day.
Our office and surgical center will remain open to serve you during our normal business hours. We are committed to providing you the best care possible during this unprecedented time. If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
